We’re off

You know you’re about to leave on a mission trip when you wake up the day of and no matter where you look, you can’t find any food.

I’m actually in the airport now, and after multiple set backs including: an insanely long wait to check baggage, a way overpriced 4:30 lunch, and several games of Super Stick Man Golf and Risk, we are finally making our way to the terminal wherein is found the plane that will be our transportation to places unknown. That was a mouthful, or a fingernail I guess, I’m typing one handed whilst i ride a transit to terminal F I believe. It’s been a day of many emotions, sadness and excitement are at the top of the list. I’m barely able to post this because the police didn’t agree with my last post and the secret service is after me, that’s why I’m running away to Uganda, Africa… And you thought it was for a mission trip. :P

Anyway, it’s been fun so far, we were joined by Victoria Cheramie as we went through security. She’ll be traveling with us to Uganda. Seriously, I had problems with my phone, and not wanting to pay five dollars for wifi, I couldn’t use the computer. However I managed to get this posted. Hope you follow this blog all the way through the trip… Unless of course you don’t like it.

Pīgaínete eseíse se ólo ton kósmo
(Go ye into all the world)

And I’ll be giving a test on these sayings, so start memorizing them. Not really. Until next time, Jared Allen, signing off.
