Routine Day

Today is another classic Compassion
center visit day. Though each center Is unique and special in their
own way, they all follow the same pattern, the same way of doing
things. Same place, different face kinda thing. Always starts with
going inside to greetings and introductions and information on the
center, tour of the facilities(consisting of playground, tree farm,
main hall and semblance of a field for recreation and school
activities), children preform, back inside for meal, say farewell,
leave, repeat. Though certain aspects differ based on the local, and
condition of the centers, it is essentially the same thing over and
over. I have to nigh constantly remind myself to not grow weary in
well doing. I’ve got my “I have no idea what you just said but I
don’t want to tell you that.” smile down pat. Every missionary has
mastered this particular expression. I’m sure the Africans feel that
way about us some times too.

This blog post has been shorter than
most, due to the routine of these past days there has been little to
say that hasn’t already been said. However, it is always good to know
that I don’t need something incredible to write, per se, as long as
someone derives something from what I do write. Until next time,
Jared Allen signing off.
